Trading Execution Quick Reference

MES Futures  |  6-Gate System  |  Zone A / Zone B  |  3 Contracts
Trade in the direction of the trend. Enter only at pre-defined confluence zones.
Never chase. Never guess. Wait for price to come to you.
The 6 Gates — 4 or More of Gates 1–5 Must Confirm, Then Gate 6 Executes
1
SPY Cloud Direction
Pass Price above cloud (green) = bullish  |  Price below cloud (red) = bearish
Fail Price inside cloud  |  Cloud transitioning  |  Price conflicting with cloud colour
Is SPY giving a clear directional lean?
2
15-Min Bias Confirms
Pass HH/HL structure (long) or LH/LL structure (short) — price on correct side of key MAs
Fail 15-min contradicts SPY  |  Choppy/overlapping  |  Recent structure break opposing
Does 15-min confirm the cloud bias?
3
Price Reaches Confluence Zone
Pass Price at pre-marked Zone A (38.2%) or Zone B (62%) with VWAP / FVG / Profile overlap
Fail Price not at a zone  |  Chasing away from levels  |  Zone beaten up by multiple tests
Has price come to a pre-marked zone?
4
Footprint Confirms (Absorption / Imbalances)
Pass Absorption: heavy volume at level, price not moving through, delta diverging
Imbalances: stacked bid imbalances (long) or ask imbalances (short) at the zone
Fail Price drifting through level  |  Delta confirming the move against you  |  No imbalances
Is the level defended? Does flow agree?
5
21 EMA on 1000-Tick Triggers
Pass Price crosses / bounces off 21 EMA with conviction candle. EMA slope agrees with direction.
Fail Far from EMA (do not chase)  |  EMA slope opposing  |  Weak candle  |  Multiple failed attempts
Clean entry trigger confirmed?
6
EXECUTE
4+ of Gates 1–5 passed. Act now. No second-guessing. No reducing size. No waiting for confirmation that isn't in the system.
Pull the trigger.

Execution Rules
E1
Pre-mark all levels before the session. Fib zones, FVGs, profile levels drawn in advance — not in real time.
E2
Exit counter-trend + enter with-trend = one decision. Place both simultaneously at the confluence zone.
E3
Delta change flipping at a pre-marked level = trigger. Do not wait for candle close.
E4
Stop: 2–3 pts below entry zone swing low. If price closes a candle below invalidation — exit. No holding.
E5
Stage SPY CALL or PUT on thinkorswim BEFORE the futures entry. When Gate 4 fires at the FIB zone — options order goes in first, futures second. No exceptions. Missing the options trade while catching the futures trade is a system failure.
Entry Zones
Zone A — 38.2% Fib
Shallow pullback. Strong trending & gap days. Primary entry on impulse days.
Strong impulse leg (clearly defined)
38.2% of that leg = zone
VWAP confluent = highest conviction signal
Delta confirms absorption at zone
Gap days: measure fib from prior CDL to overnight CDH. 38.2% pullback + VWAP = the entry.
Zone B — 62% Fib
Deeper pullback. More patience needed. Also: mandatory exit/reassess point.
62% of impulse leg
VWAP reclaim as live trigger
HTF FVG or level aligning
Cum. delta turning before price
When price reaches 62% on a move you're in — exit, reassess from flat. Do not hold through a 62% bounce without delta confirmation.
Macro vs Micro — Know the Difference
Macro (HTF — 30-min Profile / 60-min chart): The market profile is the bible. It captures the full auction — every participant, every accepted and rejected price. On strong trend and gap days, the macro FIB retracement is 38.2%. This is the structural zone where institutional buyers defend. Pre-mark it. Wait for price to come to it. This is the trade.
Micro (LTF — 1000-tick / 5-min footprint): Inside the macro 38.2% zone, the lower timeframe may show a 62–79% retracement on the tick chart. That is noise within the zone — micro price discovery, stop runs, liquidity grabs before the real move. It is useful only for pinpointing the exact entry candle. It is not the level.
Rule: The 30-min Market Profile defines where. The 1000-tick chart defines when. Never confuse the two.
Confluence Checklist — All 6 Before Entry
01 Trend confirmed — Daily + 4H + 1H all pointing the same direction. Any contradiction = no trade.
02 Price at fib level — 38.2% or 62% of a clearly defined impulse leg.
03 VWAP or HTF FVG overlaps — At least one structural tool agrees with the fib level.
04 Profile confirms — Single print, POC, VAH, or VAL near entry. Profile structure supports the level.
05 Order flow confirms — Delta flipping in trade direction. Stopping volume. Cum. delta curling.
06 ONH/ONL respected — Entry not fighting overnight high or low if nearby. Gap-day CDH made in thin volume = resistance, not support.
Pre-Market Routine
1
Prior day profile — VAH, VAL, POC
2
Overnight range — ONH, ONL. Gap? Inside/outside prior range?
3
VWAP — Opening position vs yesterday's close
4
HTF analysis — Daily → 4H → 1H → Profile. Set directional bias.
5
Mark impulse leg — Draw fib. Mark Zone A (38.2%) and Zone B (62%). FVGs.
6
SPY cloud — Gate 1 check. Clear direction?
7
15-min structure — Gate 2 check. Confirming bias?
8
Macro events — FOMC / CPI / NFP = reduced size or no trade
9
Level of the day — Name the one level that matters most today
10
Stage SPY options order on TOS — Identify the CALL or PUT strike at Zone A/B. Have the order ready before 9:30. Execute options first, futures second when Gate 4 fires.
Non-Negotiables
4+ of Gates 1–5 must confirm before Gate 6 executes
Never chase — price comes to the zone
Zones pre-marked before session, not in real time
3 MES contracts always — no doubling up
Gate 1 or 2 unclear = no trade. Ambiguity is a fail.
Candle close below invalidation = exit, no holding
One bad trade ≠ reason for another. Step away.
Trend day: 30-min lows protected = buy pullbacks only. No counter-trend shorts until a 30-min low breaks clean on a close.
Gap day CDH: Overnight high made in thin volume is unvalidated. Do not treat it as support. Wait for RTH buyers to confirm acceptance before going long at CDH.
